Sound therapy has been used for thousands of years across cultures to address disease, disharmony, and emotional distress. Ancient traditions utilized chanting, vocal toning, and instruments such as singing bowls to restore balance and relieve pain.

Modern sound therapy draws from these ancestral practices while integrating contemporary understanding of the nervous system, vibration, and embodiment. During a sound therapy session, participants rest comfortably (often lying down with a pillow and blanket) while waves of sound move through the space and body.

Instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, and other resonant tools create layered frequencies designed to calm the mind, relax the body, and invite a state of deep receptivity.

For many, sound therapy becomes a journey of self-discovery and inner exploration — supporting emotional release, expanded awareness, and the opening of the body’s energetic systems.

Embodied & restorative

Somatic Sound Bath

A Somatic Sound Bath focuses on how sound is felt in the body. Sessions may incorporate slower pacing, intentional silence, and attention to physical sensation. Sound is used as a tool for grounding, nervous system regulation, and embodied awareness.

Participants are invited to notice vibration, breath, and subtle shifts, allowing sound to support release held in the body.
